Commercial Property Lawyer - NQ-6PQE - Hove

A highly regarded full-service law firm based on the South Coast is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor (NQ-5 PQE) to join its busy and growing property team in Hove. The firm has an excellent reputation for providing practical, client-focused legal advice across the commercial property spectrum, working with a diverse range of clients from local businesses to regional developers and investors.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll handle a varied and stimulating caseload, with responsibilities including:

• Managing a broad mix of commercial property and development transactions, including acquisitions, refinances, and lease negotiations
• Advising clients on planning, construction, and finance aspects of commercial developments
• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of legal documentation, such as leases, sale and purchase agreements, overage and promotion agreements, pre-emption agreements, and development contracts
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, developers, agents, and external advisers
• Keeping up to date with legal and market developments to ensure your advice remains commercially relevant
• Running your own files with support, and assisting senior lawyers on more complex transactions

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales), ideally NQ-5 years' PQE
• Experience in commercial property gained at a reputable regional
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset
• A team player with a proactive and organised approach to work
