About the role
A highly regarded South East law firm is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor (NQ-5 PQE) to join its specialist Real Estate Dispute Resolution team in Guildford. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking firm that combines high-quality work, excellent client relationships, and a supportive team culture.
The Role
You will be part of an established Real Estate Dispute Resolution team, handling a wide range of property-related disputes, including:
- Residential landlord & tenant matters (lease renewals, enfranchisement, service charge disputes, tenancy advice)
- Commercial landlord & tenant disputes (lease interpretation, rent/service charge recovery, security of tenure issues)
- Development and property investment-related disputes
- Advising on statutory compliance and procedures (Housing Act, Landlord & Tenant Act, Protection from Eviction Act, etc.)
- Supporting partners and senior lawyers on complex litigation, while managing your own caseload with autonomy
- Involvement in client relationship management, business development, and training opportunities
About You
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with NQ-5 years' PQE in property litigation (or a strong litigation background with a property focus)
- Solid understanding of landlord & tenant law (both commercial and residential)
- Strong drafting, advocacy, and communication skills
- Proactive, commercially aware, and able to manage competing deadlines effectively
- A collaborative team player, keen to contribute to business development and client care initiatives
