We’re recruiting Behaviour Assistants to join a brand-new specialist school opening in Esher this September. Supporting pupils aged 7–17 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), you’ll play a vital role in promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement with learning.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new school from day one, helping to create a positive, nurturing environment where every pupil can succeed.
What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis throughout the school day.
Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils develop emotional regulation strategies.
Building trusted relationships to improve confidence, attendance and engagement.
Supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom.
Working closely with teachers and the pastoral team to meet individual needs.

About You

Experience working with children or young people is desirable, particularly in education, SEND, care or youth work.
Calm, resilient and empathetic, with a positive approach.
Confident managing behaviour and building positive relationships.
Passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.
