Cover Learning Support Assistant (SEND)

Are you looking for a rewarding role supporting children with additional needs? We are currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist educational setting in the Bordon area on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is a unique Cover LSA position, meaning you won’t be assigned to one specific class. Instead, you’ll provide support across the school wherever needed, working with a variety of age groups, classrooms and SEND needs. It’s the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a team environment and can build positive relationships quickly.
The Role

Full-time, Monday to Friday
Immediate start available
Long-term opportunity with potential for extension
£93 per day
Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities
Providing classroom support across different year groups and classes
Assisting teachers with learning activities and classroom management
Promoting pupil engagement, confidence and independence
Helping maintain a safe, positive and supportive learning environment

About You

Experience working with children or young people is desirable
SEND experience is beneficial but not essential
Positive, proactive and flexible approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patient, resilient and caring nature
Passionate about making a difference in children’s lives
