Year 4 Teacher

A welcoming primary school in Leamington Spa seeks a confident Year 4 Teacher for a full‑time contract until Christmas. You deliver clear, structured lessons that help pupils progress with confidence. Moreover, you create calm routines that support focus, regulation and positive behaviour. In addition, you receive dedicated PPA time to plan engaging activities and maintain strong curriculum coverage. Throughout the day, you guide learners through purposeful tasks and promote steady academic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Year 4 lessons with clarity, structure and enthusiasm
• Use effective routines to support focus and reduce anxiety
• Deliver guided reading and literacy that strengthen core skills
• Prepare adapted learning tasks for pupils needing extra support
• Promote positive behaviour approaches through calm communication
• Work closely with teaching assistants and the SENCO to maintain consistent provision
• Track pupil progress and adjust teaching when needed
• Use allocated PPA time to plan high‑quality lessons

What We’re Looking For

• A qualified Primary Teacher with PGCE or QTS
• Strong classroom experience, ideally in KS2
• Clear communication and a warm, nurturing approach
• Ability to follow structured routines and support emotional regulation
• Full‑time Monday to Friday availability until Christmas
• Interest in Leamington Spa‑based roles
