Assistant Teacher
37 hours per week/39 weeks per year (term time + 5 inset days)
Bucks Pay Range 3 - actual salary £24,623 to £26,488
(equivalent to £29,114 - £31,320 for full time)
Start date - September 2026

At Insignis Academy Trust we are seeking to appoint an Assistant Teacher at The Kingsbrook School. This role would suit a candidate who has experience of working alongside teachers within the classroom and other members of staff, and is passionate about inclusion and meeting the needs of all learners. As an Assistant Teacher you will work under the guidance of the SENDCO and subject teacher’s to support the teaching and the learning of all children and young people.
As a member of our team, you will be passionate about contributing your skills to ensure all our children and young people receive the best possible education.
Opened in September 2022 to 180 year 7 students, the school will grow by each year of entry until full in 2027-28, and so new members of the team are required to support our next cohort. Located at the heart of the Kingsbrook Estate in Aylesbury, the school boasts state of the art facilities across the mainstream school and a purpose built Inclusion Unit for children with additional Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
