We’re currently recruiting for a KS1/ KS2 PPA Teacher in Standish, WN6. This KS1/ KS2 PPA Teacher role is full-time, and you will be teaching across both KS1 and KS2, you will be given a weekly timetable as to what class you will be in each day. This role is on a long-term basis starting in September and is a temporary role.

You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on supporting children to aim high and achieve their best. This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Teaching the children in class and ensuring they complete their work to a high standard
• Guiding children through the curriculum, marking work and setting homework tasks
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Upholding the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong

Requirements or Skills:

• A teaching qualification with QTS
• Recent teaching experience in a school or education setting
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Exceptional organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
