English Teacher Needed – DN32

English Teacher – DN32 Secondary School – September Start 

We are currently recruiting for a secondary school in DN32 who are looking to appoint an English Teacher from September 2026.
This role would suit a teacher who enjoys working with secondary-aged students and is confident delivering English across KS3 and KS4. You will play an important role in helping pupils build their confidence, develop key literacy skills and achieve their academic goals.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Secondary English teaching experience (ECT placements welcome)
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4
• Strong subject knowledge
• Confident behaviour management
• Ability to plan engaging and purposeful lessons
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Prepare lessons that meet the needs of individual students
• Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide effective feedback
• Support students who require additional help
• Establish clear expectations within the classroom
• Work positively with teaching colleagues and support staff
