SEN Teaching Assistants x 2

First post is for 22.25hrs per week (3 full days and 2 mornings) paid at NJC Grade C plus 1hrs per day as Mealtime Assistant paid at NJC Grade A

Second post is for 11.5hrs per week

Both are Fixed Term Temporary posts to commence as soon as possible in September 2026.

These are fixed term appointments linked to EHCP funding for specific support for pupils with complex educational needs. You will provide in class support including tailored interventions and we are looking to appoint individuals with a sensitive, relational and nurturing approach. The successful applicants will need to be flexible, communicate effectively and think creatively.

You will:

- Be able to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents;

- Have good English and Maths skills;

- Have high expectations of children’s behaviour and be able to maintain consistent boundaries;

- Be willing to work as part of a team and have a good sense of humour;

- Be able to use your own initiative when required;

- Have experience in a similar role in a school;

- Have prior knowledge and experience of working with children with special educational needs;

You should have English and Maths to GCSE A-C or equivalent.
