Care Assistant (Part-Time / Ad Hoc Shifts)

Location: Ringstead, Kettering, Northamptonshire (NN14 Area)

We are recruiting on behalf of a friendly and well-established Residential Care Home in the Ringstead area. This opportunity is ideal for Care Assistants seeking part-time, ad hoc shifts with the flexibility to fit around other commitments.

Shift Patterns

• Long Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• Long Night Shift: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM

The Role

As a Care Assistant, you will support residents with their daily living needs while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing. You'll work as part of a dedicated care team, ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care and companionship.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and emotional support to residents.
• Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Supporting residents with meals and hydration.
• Encouraging independence and participation in daily activities.
• Maintaining accurate care records.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure excellent standards of care.

What We're Looking For

• A caring, reliable, and compassionate nature.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential.
• A genuine passion for supporting older people.
• Due to the location, candidates should ideally be drivers with access to their own transport or live close enough to Ringstead to travel reliably for shifts.
