Behaviour Support Worker

Newcastle and Gateshead 17- 20 per Hour

We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Behaviour Support Worker to support young people with behavioural, emotional and additional learning needs.

This role focuses on promoting positive behaviours, emotional wellbeing and long-term positive outcomes.

Main Duties

• Supporting positive behaviour strategies.
• Encouraging engagement in education and activities.
• Helping young people develop emotional resilience.
• Supporting social skill development.
• Reducing barriers to participation and independence.
• Monitoring and recording progress.
• Encouraging positive decision-making.
