About the role
We are seeking an experienced Offline CNC Programmer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in CNC programming using Fusion 360 or PowerMill software and a strong understanding of CNC operations. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs, ensuring high levels of precision and efficiency in manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining processes using Fusion 360 or PowerMill. • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate programming. • Collaborate with the engineering team to improve design for manufacturability. • Conduct simulations and verify programs to ensure proper operation and cycle times. • Troubleshoot programming issues and provide solutions to enhance productivity. • Maintain documentation of programs, setups, and changes. • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards during programming and production. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer with a focus on offline programming. • Proficiency in Fusion 360 and/or PowerMill software. • Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and materials. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and teamwork abilities. • Relevant technical degree or certification is a plus.
