What You Will Do:

– Create and develop CNC programs to produce consistently accurate parts to specification.

– Set up and operate machines for production runs, during both manned and unmanned periods.

– Perform routine machine maintenance checks and keep check-sheet records up to standard.

– Carry out self-inspection and complete inspection records, ensuring quality is maintained at all times.

– Prove out programs on the machine and support problem solving for specific machining parts.

– Keep the working area clean and compliant with quality, Health and Safety, and customer requirements.

What You Will Bring:

– Experience in CNC programming and working to customer drawings and engineering specifications with minimal supervision.

– Strong understanding of machining processes and the ability to work to tight tolerances with confidence.

– Practical knowledge of machine set-up, operation, and basic maintenance checks.

– A quality-focused mindset, including the ability to inspect, measure, and report findings accurately.

– Professional communication skills, with the drive to spot tooling improvements and raise them with the right people.
