JMB44 – Head PTI Location: Kings Hill Salary: £33,000 – £43,000 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Overview First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Head PTI on behalf of our client. This is an excellent opportunity for an Ex-UK Armed Forces PTI or military fitness professional to take their experience into a senior leadership position within a high-performing fitness organisation. Our client is looking for someone who understands the high standards, discipline, leadership and professionalism developed through military service and can bring these qualities into a civilian fitness environment. You will be responsible for leading the coaching team, delivering high-quality training and setting the standards across the facility. This is much more than a coaching role, with a strong focus on leadership, developing people, maintaining performance and creating a positive, high-performing team culture. Candidates from any branch of the UK Armed Forces will be considered, with relevant PTI, fitness instruction, coaching, leadership or training experience highly desirable. Relocation Opportunity A relocation package could be available for the right candidate. Our client is open to experienced military personnel who are willing to relocate to the area for this opportunity. Key Responsibilities • Lead and deliver high-quality group training sessions. • Set and maintain exceptional coaching and professional standards. • Lead, mentor and develop the coaching team. • Conduct staff performance reviews and support ongoing development. • Create a disciplined, positive and high-performing team culture. • Manage coach rotas, staffing and holiday planning. • Oversee the day-to-day operation and performance of the facility. • Monitor member attendance, retention and satisfaction. • Support membership growth alongside the sales team. • Ensure the facility and equipment remain safe and professionally maintained. • Maintain compliance with Health & Safety requirements and company procedures. Skills & Qualifications • Level 3 Personal Training qualification – essential. • Military PTI, fitness instructor or relevant military training experience – highly desirable. • Experience leading, mentoring or developing personnel. • Strong instructional and coaching ability. • Experience delivering individual and group training. • Leadership and communication skills. • High personal standards and a professional, disciplined approach. • Passion for fitness, strength and conditioning and developing others. • Ability to lead by example and hold others accountable.
