Childcare Solicitor HOD –This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a long established, multi office Kent firm with roots dating back to the 1800’s. They are now looking for a Childcare specialist to lead the team at their Kent offices.
About the Role
This position is ideally suited to an experienced and ambitious Childcare Solicitor looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward thinking firm. As Head of Department, you will lead and develop the team while playing a pivotal role in the continued growth of the practice. You will need to be an accredited member of the Law Society's Children Law Panel and willing to act as a supervisor for the purposes of the Legal Aid contract. The role also requires strong advocacy skills, with the confidence and ability to undertake your own advocacy where required.
Candidate Requirements
You will need to have at least 5 years relevant PQE and ideally some experience of management and leadership. A keen interest in networking and business development is essential, however they do possess a loyal following which they are proud of and highly value.
