Production Assembly Operative

DY13, Lower Heath, Worcestershire TRC Yorkshire We are currently recruiting Manufacturing Operatives for the Roller Department to join a leading manufacturer. You will be in a busy workshop environment and responsible for the manufacture of components in accordance with drawings and customer specifications. Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am-1pm Rate: £12.71 + piecework bonus Type: Permanent Location: Lye, DY9 Key Responsibilities: * Operating machinery to assemble industrial materials * Grooving, Tapering, Lagging and Assembly of Roller components in accordance with the drawings and customer specifications * Reporting any defective tooling, jigs, machines and fixtures or manufacturing problems that prevent production targets being achieved. * Meet or exceed piecework quotas by completing a specific number of units or tasks within a set time frame. * The inspection, identification, and packaging of company products * Assistance in working in other departments when necessary Requirements: * Previous experience working with a factory setting or engineering environment * Reliability and good communication skills. * Good attention to detail * Ideally candidates will have their own means of transport to allow for occasional movement between sites, as the business needs.
