About the role
Randstad is seeking a Children & Family Social Worker for the Scottish Borders. This role focuses on ensuring the safety and well-being of children while working closely with families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the needs of children and families and develop intervention plans.
- Undertake child protection investigations and risk assessments.
- Work with families to promote positive change and prevent family breakdown.
- Attend court and provide reports as required.
- Engage with partner agencies to coordinate holistic support.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with SSSC registration.
- Experience in children's services and safeguarding.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and child protection procedures.
- Excellent assessment and decision-making skills.
