Children & Family Social Worker

Randstad is seeking a Children & Family Social Worker for the Scottish Borders. This role focuses on ensuring the safety and well-being of children while working closely with families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the needs of children and families and develop intervention plans.
• Undertake child protection investigations and risk assessments.
• Work with families to promote positive change and prevent family breakdown.
• Attend court and provide reports as required.
• Engage with partner agencies to coordinate holistic support.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with SSSC registration.
• Experience in children's services and safeguarding.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and child protection procedures.
• Excellent assessment and decision-making skills.
