£110 per day | Full-Time | 8:30am – 4:30pm | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | September Start
Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning? Do you have the patience, resilience and enthusiasm to support pupils with additional needs?
We’re recruiting Pupil Support Assistants to join a brand-new specialist school opening in Esher this September. Supporting pupils aged 7–17 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), you’ll play a key role in helping students feel safe, valued and ready to learn.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new school from day one, working alongside a supportive team to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people.
What You’ll Be Doing

Providing 1:1 and small-group support throughout the school day.
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
Building trusted relationships with pupils to boost confidence and engagement.
Supporting learning both inside and outside the classroom.
Working closely with teachers and the wider pastoral team to meet individual pupil needs.

About You

Experience working with children or young people is desirable, particularly within education, SEND, care or youth work.
Calm, empathetic and resilient, with a positive attitude.
Able to build strong relationships and communicate effectively.
Passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
