Electrician

We’re looking for experienced Industrial Electricians to join a factory upgrade project in Smethwick. This role is ideal for contractors with proven experience in industrial electrical installations who are ready for an immediate start. This is a great opportunity to work on a key project with the potential for further work after successful completion.
Rates of Pay:

CIS rates:

£23.68 per hour for the first 40 hours
£31.50 per hour for hours 41+
£35.52 per hour for hours 52+



 
Location and Working Pattern

Smethwick
Full-time, on-site
7.30am-4pm Mon-Thur
7.30am-1pm Fri

 
Client Overview
Our client is undertaking a major factory upgrade project requiring skilled industrial electricians to deliver installation and refurbishment works to high standards.
Responsibilities

Install, terminate and gland SWA cables up to 95mm²
Fit high-bay lighting from high-level busbar trunking systems
Install small power containment, including ladder rack and cable trays
Complete busbar installations up to 250A
Carry out office refurbishment works, including power and lighting installations 

 
Must-have Requirements

Previous industrial electrical installation experience
Valid IPAF licence
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Gold JIB card

 
Nice-to-have Skills

Strong understanding of industrial power distribution systems
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
