Engineering Manager – Belfast Data Centre

We are recruiting for a permanent Engineering Manager to join a new data centre site in Belfast.

The Role

• Lead engineering service delivery, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are achieved across maintenance, faults, repairs, statutory compliance, and small works.
• Manage reporting, records, budgets, overtime, and other operational costs.
• Identify and support additional contract opportunities and provide quotations where required.
• Oversee subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality and value for money.
• Authorise chargeable works and associated invoicing.
• Maintain excellent client relationships and resolve operational issues.
• Liaise with helpdesk, schedulers, clients, and site teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Support the call-out rota and act as part of the site's escalation process.
• Drive health & safety standards, compliance, and team development through training and performance reviews.

Hours

• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Part of the site's escalation process

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
• Previous engineering leadership or management experience
