What will you be doing?
Kent County Council (KCC) is one of the largest local authorities in the country, delivering a wide range of essential services to local communities.
We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Business Support Assistant to provide a comprehensive, efficient and high-quality administrative support service across the Infrastructure division. This is a varied and rewarding role that plays an important part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of business support functions and the effective delivery of services.
The role provides administrative support to managers and teams, helping to coordinate meetings, maintain records, process correspondence and support a range of business processes. You will be responsible for ensuring information is accurately recorded and managed, responding to enquiries from colleagues, customers and external stakeholders, and providing a professional first point of contact where required.
The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment. You will be expected to support the preparation of documents, reports and presentations, maintain electronic filing systems and databases, and assist with the organisation of meetings and events. You will work closely with colleagues across the division, contributing to the delivery of effective and efficient support services and helping to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
