Health & Safety Advisor North

We are seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Advisor to join our team in the North region. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards and promote a safe working environment. You will conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards, and will provide actionable recommendations to mitigate risks. Additionally, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure that all safety protocols are adhered to and that employees are well-informed about safety practices.

As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will also lead training sessions and workshops to enhance employee awareness and engagement in safety initiatives. You will keep accurate records of safety incidents and prepare reports for management, highlighting areas for improvement and tracking progress on safety objectives. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will interact with staff at all levels and may be required to represent the organization during safety inspections and regulatory audits. The ideal candidate will have a background in occupational health and safety, relevant certifications, and experience in a similar role within industry settings.
