The Role This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous CNC, machining, engineering or manufacturing experience who is looking to develop their skills within a stable and growing business. Experience with CNC machinery and Heidenhain controls would be advantageous; however, additional training will be provided. Hours * Monday to Friday / Rotating shifts: 6:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 10:00pm Pay & Benefits * from £14.20 per hour basic rate + £0.50 per hour attendance bonus * Equivalent basic salary from £28,666 per annum * Full-time, long-term position * Monday to Friday working * Overtime opportunities * Full training and development * Modern, safety-focused manufacturing environment * Opportunity to develop CNC machining skills Duties: * Set and operate CNC machinery * Read engineering drawings and work to required tolerances * Carry out machine set-ups and component changeovers * Complete quality and dimensional checks * Monitor machines, tooling and production quality * Work to production plans and daily targets * Report faults, breakdowns and downtime * Complete required production paperwork * Maintain a clean and safe working area * Follow all Health & Safety procedures About You We are looking for candidates with: * Previous CNC, machining, engineering or manufacturing experience * Mechanical knowledge and confidence using hand tools * Ability to read technical or engineering drawings * Good attention to detail and quality * Ability to work accurately to procedures and tolerances * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Reliable attendance and good timekeeping * Willingness to learn and undertake further CNC training * Experience with Heidenhain controls would be advantageous All training will be provided to the right candidates!
