Head Receptionist

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Head Receptionist to join our Norwich Longwater Vets for Pets practice. In this pivotal role, you will lead the reception team and ensure that all non-clinical operations run smoothly, providing exceptional care to both pets and their owners. Your responsibilities will include managing front-of-house operations, addressing customer inquiries and complaints, and supporting your colleagues to maintain a welcoming and efficient environment. As the first face clients see upon arrival, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and friendly atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will possess previous managerial and customer care experience, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a strong ability to handle customer complaints effectively. You should be calm, attentive, and focused on client needs while bringing enthusiasm and a love for animals to your work. This part-time role offers 22 hours per week across four shifts, with a competitive hourly rate starting from £13.50, and the possibility of covering additional shifts as needed.
