Assembly Operative

Job Overview

We are seeking Assembly Operative’s to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling components and products with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality standards are met at every stage.

Hours of work 7:00am – 16:15pm (Mon – Thurs) 7:00am – 11:00am (Friday) – Immediate starts available

Responsibilities

• Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures according to detailed work instructions
• Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure products meet specifications and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation to promote safety and efficiency during production shifts
• Follow safety protocols diligently and report any hazards or issues immediately to supervisors
• Assist with inventory management by accurately tracking parts and materials used in assembly
• Support the team in meeting daily production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to troubleshoot assembly issues and improve processes

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and wrenches
• Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, or similar equipment is highly desirable
• Prior experience in assembly roles or warehouse environments is advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail combined with good manual dexterity
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
