Automatic Door Service Engineer – Hertfordshire & Surrounding Areas

Salary: Up to £20 per hour (£46,800 basic) + Door-to-Door Pay + Overtime + On-Call

TSM Technical are partnering with a well-established and expanding business operating within the automatic door, industrial door, gates, and barriers industry.

As part of their continued growth plans, they are seeking an experienced Automatic Door Service Engineer to cover Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties.

The Role

You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair, and fault finding of automatic door systems across a diverse range of commercial and industrial customer sites.

Additional exposure to industrial doors, gates, barriers, and access systems will form part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
• Fault diagnosis on automatic door systems
• Servicing and maintaining Record, Dorma, Tormax, ASSA ABLOY, GEZE, and similar equipment
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service
• Participation in the weekend on-call rota

Requirements

• Proven experience within the automatic door industry
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• Customer-focused approach
• EN16005 certification advantageous
• Full UK driving licence
