Arboriculture Specialist - Outside IR35

Our client, is currently seeking an Arboriculture Specialist to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves carrying out arboricultural inspections across various sites and depots, providing important support in maintaining highway infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting detailed arboricultural inspections to ensure the health and safety of trees along highways
• Preparing and maintaining detailed inspection records and reports
• Advising on tree management and recommending appropriate actions
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant arboricultural standards and regulations
• Collaborating with colleagues and external contractors
• Travelling to various work locations as required
• Utilising a range of specialist arboricultural equipment and tools
• Ensuring work is carried out safely and effectively

Job Requirements:

• Experience in arboriculture, particularly in relation to highways
• Proficiency in carrying out arboricultural inspections
• Understanding of relevant arboricultural regulations and standards
• Strong attention to detail and excellent report writing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Driving licence (category B) is essential
• No DBS required for this role
• Commitment to the specified pattern of work without adjustment
