Senior Engineer

Our client, a reputable organisation in the T & D sector, is currently seeking a Senior Engineer for a contract position at the Willesden Substation. This initial 3-month contract is part of a larger 2-year project, contributing to significant advancements within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and coordinating temporary works in line with project requirements
• Setting out and ensuring all site engineering activities comply with regulations
• Acting as the Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) for the project
• Implementing and monitoring NG Persons protocols and safety measures
• Liaising with project teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering tasks
• Problem-solving and providing technical advice as required
• Maintaining accurate records and reports on project progress
• Ensuring all engineering activities adhere to industry standards and best practices

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience as a Senior Engineer within the T & D sector
• Proven capability as a Temporary Works Coordinator
• Strong skills in setting out and site engineering
• Understanding of NG Persons protocols
• Excellent problem-solving and technical advisory skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative project team environment
• Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and reporting abilities
• Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience
