About the role
This is 3-4 months duration (possibility of extension) and will be an outside of IR35 rate starting ASAP.
Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
Support the Construction Services Package Manager in developing and implementing the marine, offshore logistics and construction service arrangements required to progress offshore wind projects from development through pre-construction and into execution.
The role will act as the technical focal point for marine and offshore construction matters, supporting the development of project strategies, procedures, technical deliverables, procurement activities and package integration to enable safe and efficient offshore construction.
Experience Required:
- Strong offshore wind construction and marine background.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in offshore wind (preferred), marine coordination, or offshore oil & gas marine operations. Preferabably offshore wind experience.
- A strong HSE mindset and commitment to safety leadership.
- Preference for candidates with offshore site management or offshore construction management experience, particularly those who have managed offshore sites and have a good understanding of UK maritime regulations and operations. (In comparison to Installation manager roles)
- Knowledge of Marine Coordination software
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marine engineering, Offshore Engineering, Nautical Science, or a related field.
- Marine safety certifications (preferred).
- Marine coordination certification (preferred).
- Project Management certification (preferred).
- Chartering and vessel management experience (preferred).
