About the role

    Care Assistant - Old Barn Close, Buckingham

    £26,229 per annum | Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

    Make a real difference every day by joining our friendly team at 4 & 5 Old Barn Close, a welcoming home supporting four adults with learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities. We create a supportive, respectful environment where people are encouraged to make choices, feel included, and live life their way.

    No previous care experience is needed - we provide full training and ongoing support. What matters most is your compassion, positive attitude and commitment to working as part of a caring team.

    What you will do:

    • Support with personal care, meals and daily routines
    • Take part in meaningful activities and community outings
    • Assist with appointments, shopping and household tasks
    • Build positive relationships and work closely with colleagues
    • Complete sleep-ins as part of your rota

    About you:

    • Kind, patient and enthusiastic
    • Holds a care certificate or willingness to undertake a care qualification
    • Comfortable working shifts including weekends and bank holidays (variety of early and late shifts)
    • Enjoy working collaboratively and supporting others to thrive
    • Able to do sleep-ins (For sleep-ins you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £52.78).

    A driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
