About the role
Part-Time Accounts Assistant | £30k Pro Rata | Vhester
Howard James Recruitment is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support a busy finance team. You will assist with the day-to-day running of the accounts function, helping to keep financial records accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities include processing purchase and sales invoices, matching, batching and coding invoices, assisting with bank reconciliations, managing supplier statements, resolving invoice queries, supporting credit control and payment processing, and assisting with month-end procedures and general finance administration.
Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role is required, along with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. AAT qualification or study towards one would be advantageous, but is not essential.
