Job Description - SC Cleared Electrician Location: RAF St Mawgan, Cornwall Contract: Initial 3-6 months with the potential for ongoing work until 2029 About the Role We are looking for experienced SC Cleared Electricians to join a major commercial and industrial electrical installation project at RAF St Mawgan. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term, high-profile project with the potential for continued work based on performance and project requirements. Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality commercial and industrial electrical installations, including:Installation of steel trunking, cable trays and ladder systemsConduit installationElectrical containment systemsInstallation of LV distribution equipmentPulling, glanding and terminating singles and SWA cablingElectrical testing and fault finding where requiredWorking safely in accordance with site procedures and health & safety regulations
Applicants must have
Current SC (Security Check) Clearance - MandatoryValid ECS Gold Card or ECS Black CardProven experience in commercial and industrial electrical installationsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong commitment to quality and safe working practices
Pay & Working Hours
£24.50 per hourApproximately 50 hours per weekStandard working hours: 07:30 - 17:30 (Monday to Friday)Weekend work, when available, paid x 1.5Overtime is subject to project requirements and site opening hours
