ILS/Supportability EngineerLocation: South East EnglandPay: £45,000 - £75,000About the roleAn opportunity for an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer to join a leading engineering organisation developing complex, safety-critical systems. Working across the full product lifecycle, you'll help shape support solutions from design through to in-service support, ensuring systems are reliable, maintainable and cost-effective throughout their operational life.What you'll be doing
Deliver ILS activities across complex engineering programmes.Influence product design to improve reliability, maintainability and supportability.Complete analyses including Life Cycle Cost (LCC), LORA, FMECA and sparing.Develop supportability cases and support solution architectures.Define and verify support requirements.Contribute to technical documentation, hazard analysis and obsolescence planning.Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to optimise whole-life support.
What we're looking for
Experience delivering ILS within a complex engineering environment.Strong understanding of reliability, maintainability and supportability principles.Experience with analyses such as LORA, FMECA, LCC and sparing.Ability to influence design decisions throughout the engineering lifecycle.Degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience).
