Legionella Risk Assessor

We are seeking a dedicated Legionella Risk Assessor to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential Legionella risks in various water systems, including cooling towers, hot and cold water systems, and other relevant environments. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while promoting the highest standards of water safety. You will develop and implement effective management strategies to mitigate risks associated with Legionella, and prepare detailed reports outlining your findings and recommendations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Legionella legislation and guidelines, along with experience in water hygiene management. Key responsibilities include performing site inspections, collecting water samples for analysis, and interpreting laboratory results. You will also provide training and support to clients on effective water management practices, as well as maintain accurate records of assessments and actions taken. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure all parties are informed and compliant.

A relevant qualification in environmental health, microbiology, or a related field is required, along with a proven track record in a similar role.
