Retail Security Officer.

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Retail Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and staff. Your primary duties will include monitoring the premises through surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. You will also be tasked with identifying and addressing potential security risks, as well as preventing theft and vandalism through proactive measures and effective communication with the public and staff.

Additionally, you will assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures to enhance overall safety. Responding to incidents and emergencies, you will collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary and prepare detailed reports on any security-related events. This position requires strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid security license and prior experience in a retail security role will be advantageous.
