Retail Security Support Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Retail Security Support Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees within the retail premises. Key responsibilities include monitoring surveillance equipment, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. You will also be tasked with identifying and reporting any suspicious activities or potential threats, as well as assisting in the prevention of theft and vandalism.

In addition to your surveillance duties, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, assisting customers and staff as needed, and responding to emergencies or incidents promptly. The successful candidate should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and local law enforcement when necessary. Previous experience in a security role or retail environment is preferred, and candidates must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of security procedures and conflict resolution techniques. A valid security license or certification is also required.
