Booking Agent – Full-Time Permanent Role

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Booking Agent to join our well-established client based in Livingston, West Lothian.

Your main role is to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings. 

You must be able to work on your own initiative, acting promptly and accurately. 

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Office Coordinator, Administrator. Office Assistant or Office Junior.

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 17:00 (with half hour lunch break)

Salary:

• £25,000 to £27,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Day to day duties:

Your duties as an Booking Agentwill be:

• Actioning enquiries through platform such as Whatsapp, Email and Phone Calls
• Data Entry
• Drafting quotes
• Managing Diary
• Answering the phone
• Dealing with customer enquiries
• Credit card transactions

Essential skills:

The skills required to be a Booking Agent are:

• Professional and punctual
• Methodical and organised
• Reliable and honest
• Excellent with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook

Training:

• Industry related on the job training provided and ongoing support throughout
