Yard /Quality Operator

Job Overview We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Yard/Quality Operative to join a busy automotive operation based in Rochester. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring vehicles meet quality standards before progressing through the operational process. Key Responsibilities • Carry out quality control inspections on vehicles in line with company standards • Identify and report any defects, damages, or inconsistencies • Complete inspection checklists accurately and efficiently • Ensure all vehicles are processed within required timeframes • Work closely with operational and yard teams to maintain workflow • Maintain a clean and safe working environment • Adhere to all health and safety regulations at all times Skills and Experience Required • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Good communication skills • Basic knowledge of vehicles (preferred but not essential) • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic What We Offer • Competitive hourly rate £14.50 - £14.77 • Consistent daytime working hours • Monday to Friday schedule (no weekends) • Opportunity to work within a well-established automotive environment • Supportive team environment Additional Information • PPE may be required and will be provided where necessary • Previous QC or automotive experience is advantageous but not essential as training can be provided To find out more, please call Adam or Scott on INDENG Planet Recruitment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
