Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Packer & Grader Operatives to join a busy warehouse operation in Ilminster.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives, Packing Operatives, Food Production Operatives, Quality Operatives, or Packer & Grader Operatives looking for flexible night shift work within a fast-paced food production environment.

• £14.96 per hour.
• £50 overtime bonus.
• Ad-hoc night shifts.
• Monday to Thursday, 6:30pm-4am.
• Weekly pay.
• Supportive team environment.
• Opportunity to gain experience within a busy warehouse and food production setting.

• Inspect and grade potatoes, removing products that do not meet quality standards.
• Follow photographic grading guides to ensure product consistency and quality.
• Identify and report any foreign bodies found on the grading line.
• Carefully pack potatoes to ensure products reach customers in excellent condition.
• Monitor product quality throughout the packing process.
• Report damaged packaging, open seals, or quality concerns to the Machine Operator.
• Ensure the correct number of bags are packed into trays or MUs and stacked correctly on pallets.
• Accurately label products to prevent customer issues and product returns.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and food quality procedures.
