RECYCLING OPERATIVE – Rushden, Northamptonshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Recycling Operatives to join our well-established client based in Rushden, Northamptonshire.

£13.00 per hour | Monday to Friday | 10-Hour Shifts | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Overtime Available | Immediate Starts

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work throughout the year, and genuine long-term opportunities with a well-established recycling operation.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Recycling Operative, Waste Recycling Operative, Waste Operative, Sorting Operative, Recycling Facility Operative, Production Operative or General Operative.

Shifts

 • Monday to Friday
 • 07:00 – 17:00

Rates of Pay

 • £13.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Recycling Operative, your duties will include but not be limited to:

 • Working on a recycling line handling food waste
 • Separating food waste from packaging and identifying contaminants
 • Loading and unloading trailers as required
 • Carrying out general housekeeping duties, including pressure washing work areas and equipment
 • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
 • Following all health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Recycling Operative, you will need:

 • A basic level of spoken English
 • A reliable and punctual approach to work
 • Good attention to detail
 • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
 • A willingness to work within a food waste recycling environment

Desirable Experience

 • Previous experience within a recycling, warehouse, production, manufacturing, or waste environment would be advantageous

Training Provided

 • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
