Key Responsibilities

As a KS1 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering creative and engaging Key Stage 1 lessons
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress effectively
• Supporting children’s academic, social, and emotional development
• Managing classroom behaviour positively and consistently
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, staff, and parents
• Encouraging pupil confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning

Requirements for the KS1 Teacher Position

To be considered for this Primary Teacher role in Castle Bromwich, you should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A passionate and committed approach to primary education
