Cleaning and Waste Operative

We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaning and Waste Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various facilities, ensuring that all areas are presentable and safe. Your duties will include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting designated areas, as well as cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and break rooms. You will also handle waste management duties, including the collection, segregation, and disposal of waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness. You should be physically fit, as the role requires lifting and moving waste and cleaning equipment. Previous experience in a cleaning or waste management role is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. A positive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are essential for success in this position. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate different shifts, including evenings and weekends.
