Assistant Management Accountant

United Kingdom Dynamite Recruitment Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a well-established business based on the outskirts of Petersfield on a permanent basis. This position will play an important role in delivering accurate financial information and providing insight to support business decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to develop their management accounting skills within a commercial environment.

The Assistant Management Accountant Role:

• Supporting the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting
• Providing analysis and insight to help understand business performance and key financial trends
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
• Supporting month-end processes, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with fixed asset management and other accounting activities as required
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance financial reporting

The Ideal Assistant Management Accountant Candidate:

• Previous experience within a similar position
• Studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Commercially minded with an interest in understanding the wider business impact of financial information
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable learning new systems, processes, and ways of working
