Senior Civil Engineer

Our client, a distinguished consultancy in the developement infrastructure sector, is presently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Bristol. This role focuses on mainly residential infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing civil engineering projects related to highways and drainage
• Utilising Civil 3D or Site 3D software to design and model infrastructure projects
• Preparing and processing S104 and S278 agreements
• Designing and analysing drainage systems, ideally using FLOW or InfoDrainage software
• Producing and reviewing detailed engineering drawings and plans
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery
• Managing project timelines and ensuring adherence to deadlines
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers

Job Requirements:

• Experience in civil engineering, specifically within highways and infrastructure
• Proficiency in Civil 3D software or Site 3D
• Familiarity with FLOW or InfoDrainage software is desirable
• Strong understanding of S104 and S278 agreements
• Excellent project management and organisational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work remotely or from the office as required
• Relevant degree in civil engineering or an equivalent qualification
