Site Planning & Contractor Management

  • Meeting Governance: Lead daily and weekly site cadence meetings, ensuring operational drumbeats (Plan of the Day / PLODs and Plan of the Week / PLOWs) are embedded and maintained.

  • Short-Term Planning: Conduct weekly planning sessions with contractor partners to align short-term site activities with the master programme, recording outputs and escalating critical blockers.

  • Logistics & Multidisciplinary Coordination: Oversee contractor management regarding site logistics, labour allocation, and multidisciplinary delivery tracking across allocated work packages.

Requirements & Experience

  • Major Project Track Record: Substantial experience managing site construction delivery on complex, large-scale infrastructure or major civil engineering projects.

  • Strategic Planning: Proven expertise in strategic site set-up, construction sequencing, resource allocation, and schedule recovery planning.

  • Commercial Acumen: Strong working knowledge of commercial principles impacting site construction and contractor management.

  • Regulatory Understanding: Expert working knowledge of CDM Regulations and site safety governance frameworks.

Key Competencies

  • People Leadership: A motivational, results-focused manager capable of inspiring site teams, building trust, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
