Technical Support Officer (Highways Infrastructure)

Our client, in the highways sector, is currently seeking a Highways Technical Support Officer to join their Highways and Structures team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with some technical experience who can handle incoming enquiries and update the database, contributing to the technical operations of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and responding to incoming technical enquiries
• Updating and maintaining the databases with accurate information
• Supporting the Structures team with various technical tasks
• Assisting in the preparation of technical reports and documentation
• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth and effective workflows
• Providing technical support to internal and external stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and practices

Job Requirements:

• Some technical experience in the highways sector
• Understanding of highway terminology and industry standards
• Experience with database management systems
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Relevant qualification or background in a related field is advantageous
