Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Senior Structural Technician to join an engineering consultancy based in Nottingham, working with their excellent team of engineers on a variety of projects.

Our client is a successful engineering consultancy who are looking to take on a Senior Structural Technician to join their team.

They have been in operation for over 30 years and pride themselves on the quality of service that they provide to their clients, the proof of this being in the high proportion of repeat business they see.

Role

Due to continued growth and projects secured, our client is actively recruiting for a Senior Structural Technician to play a key role in the structural design modelling and detailing structural elements of interesting projects including industrial, retail, leisure, residential, care homes, student accommodation, commercial and public sector.

As a Senior Structural Technician you will be a key member of the design team and will be expected to offer guidance to junior Structural Technicians within the business.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Structural Technician, you will have the following responsibilities –

Show a great working knowledge of a range of software including AutoCAD and Revit.
Support junior Structural Technicians hen required.
Work closely with Structural Engineers and understand project requirements.
Create high quality drawings.
Person

Have a keen passion for the built environment.
Proven track record and extensive industry experience in Structural Engineering Design.
Highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD software packages and excellent IT skills overall.
Able to meet deadlines with strong organisational skills.
Ability to work as an effective Senior Structural Technician, working as part of a team of technicians.
Remuneration

A competitive salary of £37,500-£47,500 depending on experience plus a comprehensive benefits package.
