Overview

Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join an UK based Construction Consultancy based in Sheffield, who provide first class service resulting in repeat business and client recommendation, therefore needing an experienced individual to join the Sheffield team.

Role

As a Senior Project Manager based in Sheffield, you will play a crucial role in delivering the prestigious schemes with a hands-on approach throughout the project life cycle from inception to completion across a variety of sectors, including but not limited to; Residential, Retail, Leisure, Commercial, Industrial, Public, Renewable and Master planning.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager based in Sheffield, your responsibilities will include:

Advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage
Leading the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
Planning for and the ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issues
Project planning
Advising upon the procurement of resources
Leading the overall cross-functional project team
Monitoring performance, including the use of KPI’s
Monitoring and advising upon project finances
Taking responsibility for business development – including cross selling
Attending client meetings and reporting to Associate directors

The ideal Senior Project Manager will aligned with the job description above but also:

Have experience in a similar role in the construction environment, ideally consultancy
Have a degree qualification in a relevant discipline
Proven experience in managing commercial projects
Have the ability to engage with project stakeholders, and ability to deal with issues appropriately and constructively
