Retail Security Officer

We are seeking a motivated and vigilant Retail Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for both customers and staff. Your primary duties will include monitoring surveillance equipment, conducting regular patrols of the premises, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. You will also actively engage with customers and employees to deter theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities, while fostering a positive shopping experience.

The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills and the ability to respond swiftly to any incidents. You will be required to write detailed reports on any suspicious activities or incidents that occur, as well as collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary. A high level of communication skills is essential, as you will need to effectively convey information to both management and team members. Previous experience in a security role, particularly in a retail environment, is preferred. A valid security license and first aid certification will be considered an advantage.
