Incident Response Centre Operator

We are seeking a skilled Incident Response Centre Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security incidents and alerts, ensuring prompt and effective responses to potential threats. Your primary duties will include triaging incoming alerts, conducting initial investigations, and escalating incidents as necessary. You will collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams to implement mitigation strategies and develop incident reports that detail findings and actions taken.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, incident response methodologies, and familiarity with various security tools and technologies. You should possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A background in network security, threat intelligence, or vulnerability management is highly desirable. Additionally, you must demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will need a keen attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a commitment to continuous learning in the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), or similar, will be advantageous.
